Problem
Standard phone reminders are silent banners that get ignored. People with attention-driven workflows, accessibility needs, or just a busy life need a reminder that actually breaks through — something their phone says, out loud, in the moment.
Approach
We designed YAY! around a single hard requirement: the spoken reminder fires at the scheduled time, even when the app is closed and the phone is locked. Then we wrapped it in a cheerful, friend-shareable interface that makes setting reminders feel good.
What we built
A cross-platform React Native app with custom message reminders, optional voice selection, daily habit reminders, and friend-to-friend nudges. Shipped through both app stores with a full GTM and TikTok content plan.
Outcome
Live in the App Store and Google Play. A small, focused product that does one thing genuinely well, built for a client who had a clear vision and needed someone to ship it.
